Holidays are about so many things. Good food, long conversations with friends and family you don't see often enough, and the smells. Oh, those nostalgic smells get me RIGHT IN THE FEELS. Like, I can be walking through the Christmas aisle in Hobby Lobby and boom, I'm instantly transported back in time(sans DeLorean) to being in my Grandmother's living room with all the relatives gathered around the table preparing Christmas dinner. This black jarred beauty is like a simmer pot right on your countertop. The smell of mulled cider mixed with holiday desserts is a feast for your senses. And way less calories than those Southern Christmas desserts I loved as a kid(thighs...you're welcome).
