There is something about the word abide that has always made me feel safe.

To abide means to stay. To remain. And when Jesus says, “Abide in Me, and I in you,” I can't help but picture being completely tucked away in Him.

Sheltered. Covered. Safe.

Not because everything around us is always calm, but because of who we're abiding in.

God is big. He is steady. He is strong. He doesn't move when everything else does. And there is something really beautiful about remembering that we don't have to either. We can just stay close.

So let ABIDE be your little daily reminder to remain.

Abide in His promises.
Abide in His Word.
Abide in His presence.
Abide in His bigness.
Abide in His stillness.
Abide in who He is.

No striving. No figuring everything out. Just stay.

Because apart from Him, we can do nothing. But tucked away in Him? That's a pretty good place to be.

Light with intention. Pause. Breathe. Pray. Lean in, and let this word become an invitation to hear what God is speaking over you today.
